Baking soda as a natural remedy for rashes, stings and other skin irritations

Baking soda shows to be extremely helpful in eczema and makes an excellent footh bath for tired, achy feet. How to get rid of acne with baking soda paste

Baking soda paste makes a very efficient remedy against acne. In the evening, wash your face with a mild face cleanser, leave the face wate and then apply the baking soda paste (baking soda and water) on your skin. Do not scrub! Leave the paste on for about twenty minutes. Baking soda is antibacterial and is said to clean the skin and do wonders with acne, blackheads and even acne scars. Baking soda will dry oily skin, that’s why it is important to rinse well and then apply a natural moisturizer. Baking soda will make the skin smoother and pores smaller, acne scars should fade. But it is important not to scrub the paste, since it could cause a burning effect, especially on sensitive skin.

Do not use baking soda which has had aluminum added to it, such as Arm and Hammer. Buy a product which specifically states it does not include aluminum or other chemicals.
